Accreditation
Health and safety are paramount to Platinum Civil Engineering’s operations.
We are a CHAS accredited company, we comply with SSID Core Criteria and UK H&S Legislation to guarantee that all works are carried out with stringent safety measures and awareness of risks.
In conjunction with Health and Safety specialists Courtley H&S, we ensure that our staff are trained and regularly educated on current risks and dangers of working on a construction site. Courtley representatives and our contracts managers make regular visits to site to ensure this standard is maintained.
Site Admin and Inductions
After receiving an application we vet all operatives with CITB and NPORS checks to ensure they have the appropriate valid tickets and certificates.
Upon induction to a site all staff receive their own personal protective equipment suited to their role on site. Additionally, they read and sign the Site Induction Form, COSHH, Risk Assessment and Method Statements that have been carefully allocated to the works that are to be carried out. This is before any works are carried out and are updated in relation to any variations.
Our site supervisors present a weekly Tool Box Talks based on any risks they may face during the upcoming week’s tasks. The operatives are given a brief before works commence each day where they identify any risks and perform plant checks.
