We offer expert resurfacing and repaving solutions for whatever your need, whether that's a residential driveway, commercial car park or industrial estate. These works are intended to extend the life and improve the appearance of existing paved surfaces.
This is achieved by either breaking out the existing pavement, repairing the sub base and laying a new layer of asphalt, tarmac or concrete. Alternatively, applying a layer over the top of the existing pavement covering cracks, potholes and uneven ground is also a solution.
We also provide line marking services for any highway, road, car park or other custom line marking needs as part of our groundworks packages. We ensure that the markings are precise, durable and meet regulatory requirements.
We offer comprehensive support for obtaining Section 50 Permits, ensuring all of our excavation or street works projects are fully compliant with legal requirements.
A Section 50 Permit, under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), is required when anyone wishes to carry out works on a public highway. Therefore, for any works we complete on public highways such as utilities or drainage installation, resurfacing and substructure require a permit to manage the works safely and minimise disruption to traffic.
We provide all aspects of the the permit application as well as liaison with the authorities to coordinate and facilitate inspections, address any concerns and provide all relevant documentation.
Stormwater can be a major issue for roads and highways causing flooding, pooling and erosion. We install advanced drainage systems that effectively channel and control stormwater runoff. The stormwater works we offer include:
- Drainage such as culverts, ditches and storm drains
- Permeable Paving, allowing the water to infiltrate through the pavement and distribute effectively
- Retention and Detention Basins, captures and stores stormwater controlling the release of water into the environment
- Swales, to naturally filter and direct water
- Stormwater treatment systems, to remove contaminants before discharging to natural waterways
